Obligor: YNHS provides primary medical, dental, pharmacy, behavioral health, and other services from multiple locations throughout Yakima County. Additionally, YNHS provides supportive housing at five owned properties and several master-leased properties throughout the county. YNHS provided care to 20,114 unduplicated patients in 2020.

Loan Size: $4,463,210

Description of Loan: Proceeds of the loan will be used to refinance the WHCFA Series 2008 Bond and to fund the acquisition, equipping and remodeling of the YNHS Terrace Heights facility located in Yakima, WA.

Interest Cost Savings: It is anticipated by YNHS that it will save approximately $977,880 in interest costs over traditional taxable interest rate financing. Savings from the tax-exempt financing proposed in this application will enable YNHS to further its mission to provide affordable, accessible, quality health care to their communities. It will enable them to expand services and increase access to primary care services.
